The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Data Integration and Data Architecture Manager, the Data Integration Consultant will support on two areas within data strategy in the technology department.

•    Data Platform

Support and develop data projects within the Puig Data Platform. This responsibility is about designing and implementing scalable data structures and data pipelines to enable analytics, data activation and data governance. 

•    Middleware

Support on the design and implementation of application integration processes, governance models, tools and services supporting Digital, Retail and Operating technologies area in everything related with data integration (API’s, Data Orchestration, Business Process Integration, Application-to-Application integration and more). 
 

What you’ll get to do

•    Support and implement data integration processes for the Digital, Retail and Operating technologies areas
•    Continuous optimization of production processes to boost operational efficiency
•    Help to execute the strategy for data landscape, orchestration and governance model 
•    Development and/or advise of the data projects portfolio to answer internal client needs
•    Help the business in identification of data sources (new and existing) to enrich Puig data model
•    Help the business to present the approach and/or conclusions in a comprehensive approach even for non-data specialist
 

We’d love to meet you if you have

•    2+ years of experience working within the data field
•    Solid experience in integration technologies and analytics
•    Skills on relational databases (e.g., Google BigQuery, SAP HANA, MS SQL Server, Oracle…)
•    Skills on integration tools (e.g., SAP Cloud Integration, Informatica, Mulesoft, Apigee,…)
•    Education: Engineering or others related studies
•    Programming languages: advanced in SQL and Python, plus basic knowledge on other programming languages (JavaScript, Groovy, etc.)
•    Languages: English is a must
