Job Description

This is who we are

ING’s strategy is built around our purpose: Empowering people to stay ahead in life and in business. We want to make the difference for people and the planet by providing a superior customer experience and putting sustainability at the heart of what we do.

To make this happen, we need solid data governance. Data about customers, products, agreements, transactions, and operations. In ING’s Global CDO (Chief Data Officer) organization, data is our heart. We ensure the bank can use data for decisions, reporting, analytics, modelling and much more because the data is of good quality, is managed well throughout the bank and that uniform policies and processes around our data apply. CDO is a global organization, with people working in Amsterdam, Manilla, Bucharest and many more ING countries.

We are with around 200 data management professionals working on our ambition: making sure data is being treated in a pragmatic, compliant and ethical way! This vacancy is in the Center of Excellence Data Governance and will have a specific orientation towards the CDO Office in our Global Technology function.

This vacancy is posted for the newly formed Data Integrity and Traceability team, within the CoE Data Governance, supporting the Global Data Management promises of leveraging on a global data organisation, simplifying the structures around it, creating focus on the areas that matter the most to the Bank and creating business value by bringing the data organization closer to where it is needed. As a Data Integrity Officer you will work in one of these three subject areas, contributing to the team backlog, for the design of the governance artefacts supporting these capabilities, and interfacing with other areas of the organization (such as Global Data Operations or Global CDO Offices) to ensure a smooth execution and oversight of the underlying processes.
