As a data management expert, you contribute to the design and management of the actual development, monitoring and testing of our applications. You understand the entire data stack so that you can put applications into production and resolve incidents in collaboration with the squad. You communicate with squads both inside and outside BMG: you understand the purpose of our company and work in a team of experts to find the most relevant solution for customer needs.
The following matters are essential:
Engineering
• You build, improve and maintain BMG’s data platform.
• Practical experience in designing, developing, monitoring and testing an end-2-end data platform.
• You apply Continuous Delivery practices as part of your daily work.
• You consult with the team about what is needed to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the IT product to be developed.
• You implement all mandatory security standards to ensure that IT risks are and remain under control.
Contribute to the new way of working
• You contribute to the Agile meetings (stand-up, refinement and retrospective) with your technical expertise and experience.
• Where possible, you take on tasks/activities that contribute to the goal, even if they are not entirely within your field.
• You contribute to the development of your squad by actively giving and receiving feedback.
• You continuously develop your own expertise while collecting, updating and disseminating knowledge about developments and challenges in your field and anchoring the lessons learned and best practices.
