Data Management – Team Leader
Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Data Management team to partner with the Business.
As a Data Management Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, you’ll be responsible for creation of accurate and sensitive client data having direct impact on firms’ books and records. Client Account Services team owns the Client/ Counterparty static data and are responsible for timely and accurate set-up and maintenance of Account reference/ static data. Client Accounts Services team facilitates trading and settlement functions by setting up and maintaining Client/ Counterparty account reference data and Standard Settlements Instructions on the core processing platforms. Client/ Counterparty/ Firms (Internal) reference data includes cash and stock settlement instructions, confirmations, account level details i.e., name, addresses, country of citizenship, trading restriction flags etc. The team also supports the set up and maintenance of other static data like Portfolio References/ Books/ Salesperson/ Trader/ Depots/ Commission updates / Accounting tables and monitoring of exception queues.
Job responsibilities
- Authenticate requests/ perform due diligence prior to processing the request as per the documented procedure
- Open customer records in appropriate branches and systems, ensuring correct linkages and downstream impact.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in Confirmation recipients and SSIs Maintenance on the systems as per procedures with zero tolerance related to client data breaches.
- Present innovative ideas and demonstrate ability to implement under supervision of managers and stakeholders
- Support team and peers to achieve team objectives and goals
- Maintain account mapping between the various systems.
- Manage Data analysis / research and remediation function based on assignments.
- Ensure the procedural guidelines are followed
- Ensure maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures “SOPs.”
- Maintain MIS report as required.
- Maintain accurate volumes / productivity.
