Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Data Manager (Power BI) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. The work will be carried out either remotely or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks.

  • Design, implementation and maintenance of applications/IT systems;
  • Contribute to the modelling and design of application/IT system;
  • Support staff in the daily use of data systems;
  • Installation and configuration of applications;
  • Create reports and assist with data extraction when needed;
  • Advise on quality data collection;
  • Evaluate performance of data systems;
  • Advice on databases security & assist in resolving data related issues.

Requirements

  • University degree with minimum 4 years of experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 8 years of experience in IT;
  • Experience of minimum 3 years as Data Manager or a similar role;
  • Expertise in Business Information Systems such as CoSIT (SharePoint Online & PowerBI) and SRM (CRM Dynamics 365);
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle in both: waterfall and Agile/DevOps modes;
  • Experience working with work item management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, TFS or Jira);
  • Understanding of Unified Modelling Language (UML) & Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
  • Excellent knowledge in data management activities, including data mapping, transformation, aggregation and calculation in large and complex datasets;
  • Experience with executing data analysis;
  • Deep knowledge of SQL and at least one of the following platforms PowerBI, R, Python, FME, Qlik;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
