Data Management is vital to IT & Data Excellence function within the Digital Execution & Technology business units in Aker BP. We are responsible for competency, services, and resources as an excellence function.

 

In the Data Management team we enable and deliver efficient, reliable, and informative decision-making data products and services in a secure, efficient and consistent way. The overall company goal is to be data-driven.

 

We are looking for a leader for Information Management with a strong passion and commitment for people and leadership. There you will become part of the management team in Data Management department and have responsibility for 25+ resources (employees and consultants) delivering services to different part of the business.

 

Typical work tasks can be: 

  • Responsible for building identity, shaping the organisation and developing the people within your team
  • Personnel responsibility and competence development
  • Optimizing work methodology, processes, and frameworks and develop and drive change agenda aligned with clients
  • Project ownership, budget, cost management and follow up Supplier and Partner
  • Facilitating and removing obstacles and act as escalation point

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree within Information science or other relevant disciplines. Relevant experience can compensate for education 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with information management in larger enterprises 
  • Extended experience with document and information systems
  • Strong personal drive and ability to drive and motivate teams.
  • Strong performer and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
