To effectively work as part of a dedicated, successful and focused team analysing, investigating and accurately processing information on the Equifax UK database, ensuring the highest possible standards of consumer and client data is maintained.

Capturing, loading and amending consumer and commercial data through use of the systems, tools and training provided. Completing tasks in line with the quality models, policies and processes in place which provide appropriate governance and guidance for the regulated environment within which we operate.

Utilising the appropriate escalation channels for elements such as technical obstacles, incident management, data security and individual client or consumer complaints.

This is a Fixed Term Contract until Dec 2024

What You’ll Do

  • Load, amend, maintain and delete consumer and commercial data using Equifax databases

  • Analyse data information applying  knowledge, training and support needed to bring queries to resolution

  • Strictly adhere to quality control procedures when managing data and highlight any discrepancies or anomalies as required

  • Liaise as required with internal and/or external departments or customers in an engaged, professional and pleasant manner at all times

  • Assist with training and development of new team members as required

  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks to assist in improving the integrity of the Equifax databases

  • Highlight and where appropriate escalate data issues that will ensure quality of data is maintained and not compromised

  • Ensure authentication/permission is valid of submitted data from both closed user groups and data pools and assist where necessary the on-boarding of new clients 

  • Liaise with inter-departmental agents and their respective managers and/or Technology to progress resolution of issues

  • Ensure full compliance of data protection and accuracy of input in line with quality protocols, training and instruction received

  • Advise as required with internal and/or external departments or customers on data compliance and legislation

  • To maintain the highest possible standards of communication (primarily written)

  • To act as an ambassador for the Equifax brand and support the delivering of our core values and mission statement of “helping our consumers live their financial best”

  • Manage and receive urgent requests to support your manager in delivering prompt resolutions against any escalated issues/complaints

  • Contribute as an integral team member towards achieving an effective and productive working environment that embraces camaraderie and is dedicated to delivering both quality and efficiency of service to our customers

  • Recognise, respect and contribute positively to the culture under which we operate

  • Maintain system, tool and skills awareness as per support provided consistently seeking to develop knowledge in yours and other team members core role

What experience you need

  • Education – Leaving Certificate (minimum)

  • Current experience in an office based / call centre / administrational environment dealing with customers, clients and/or their representatives. 

  • Exceptional written communication skills, with strong organisational and admin skills 

  • Ability to learn quickly and work well with others as part of a fast moving team.

  • Any experience using Salesforce, Google workspace and Equifax bespoke tools. Evidence and experience of working in a written communication environment delivering customer service, utilising various systems whilst capable of working autonomously or as part of a team

  • Being proactive and being able to use own initiative

  • Ability to adapt to change and excited by new challenges

  • Ability to spot improvements or areas of opportunity to improve efficiency
