As a Data Scientist at Entrata, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development of impactful features and AI/ML-based capabilities for our products. Responsibilites:

  • Apply foundational skills in quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling to contribute to the development of impactful features and AI/ML based capabilities for Entrata products.
  • Participate in initiatives for data-driven decision-making, supporting the creation, completion, and adoption of products with a focus on optimization and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to align data science initiatives with product goals.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating new opportunities for AI/ML contributions within Entrata’s long-term roadmap using innovative and forward-thinking approaches.
  • Support machine learning and statistical analyses to contribute to practical, scalable, and robust product solutions related to prediction, forecasting, and LLMs.
  • Adopt best practices in quantitative analysis and build relationships across teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers on scoping, ideating, and contributing to code-based proofs of concept, while actively learning and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in inferential statistics, experimentation, and machine learning, emphasizing feature engineering and model robustness.
  • Familiarity with NLP/NLU/NLG models, including LLMs, NERs, Sentiment Analysis, and Topic Modeling.
  • Experience in AI/ML production pipeline, with exposure to AWS, GitHub, Terraform, and understanding of ML model product ionization.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based ML services like AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning.
  • Project management skills for defining scopes, data gathering, and analysis in data projects.
  • Commitment to sharing best practices and creating documentation for team-wide benefit.
  • Demonstrated dedication to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies.
  • Basic experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Airflow, Kubernetes) in ML workflows.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and ethical considerations in AI/ML.
  • Educational background in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or related fields, coupled with 1-2 years of experience in quantitative analysis, data science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other degrees with an emphasis on statistical analysis and machine learning.
  • Exposure to LLM technologies like OpenAI, Cohere, and Hugging Face, along with open source projects such as Langchain and LlamaIndex.
  • Interest in developing experience in a product-focused role within a SaaS technology company.
