Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Developing and implementing databases and data collection systems which includes creation and management of databases and data collection systems that efficiently gather relevant information.

Identifying critical meaningful metrics and setting priorities: While collaborating with our internal customers to resolve most crucial Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) to supervise, analyze, and establish priorities for the company.

Gathering information from original and secondary sources by acquiring comprehensive information for analysis from various sources, including primary and secondary sources.

Sorting and sanitizing data: Prior to analysis, data needs to be organized and cleansed to ensure accuracy and quality.

Identifying trends and patterns in large datasets: Apply sophisticated analytical techniques to model and uncover important trends and patterns hidden within extensive datasets.

Creating visual representations of data in the form of infographics, charts, PowerPoint slides, PowerBi representations: Employ data visualization tools to provide insights in a visually appealing and understandable format, enabling collaborators to easily absorb and comprehend understand sophisticated information. Excellent visualizations may also be able to be demonstrated externally in Investor Relations materials or in other presentations by c-suite executives.

Generating and modifying reports: Develop reports that summarize their findings, providing actionable insights and recommendations for decision-making purposes. These reports are continually refined and adjusted based on evolving data analysis requirements.

Building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards: Design and maintain interactive dashboards that offer real-time visualizations of critical metrics, allowing partners to monitor performance and make informed decisions.

Documenting data models, metrics, and infrastructure: Document the data models, metrics, and supporting infrastructure they create and maintain to ensure data integrity and facilitate collaboration

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master’s Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.

Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data

Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

Solid understanding of and experience with reporting packages (PowerBi), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, R, XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)

Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

A high level of intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in understanding the semiconductor and electronics ecosystems
