Job Description

We are looking for a Data Scientist with:

  • Advanced knowledge of Python and Pyspark.
  • Strong foundation in Statistics and Probability: essential for model retraining and ML model building. 

¿What would be your responsibilities?

  • Responsible for the Administration of the Transaction Monitoring Tool, with the following main tasks:
  • Maintenance of the Investigation Center: environment configuration.
  • Maintenance and execution of Jupyter Notebooks: ETL, variable changes, model retraining, analysis, and validation. Configuration of deterministic rules.
  • Airflow: creation, monitoring, and reprocessing of automated processes.
  • PowerBi: maintenance and creation of new on-demand reports.

Qualifications

¿What are we looking for?

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and Pyspark.
  • Strong understanding of Statistics and Probability.
  • Experience with model retraining and Data Drift Detection.
  • Proficiency with Jupyter Notebooks for ETL, analysis, and validation.
  • Familiarity with Airflow for automated process management.
  • Experience with PowerBi for report maintenance and creation.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python and Pyspark.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.
  • Experience with model retraining and machine learning.
  • Ability to configure and maintain automated processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information:

We are seeking hybrid profiles with a background in development/DE, along with the strong foundation in Statistics and Probability as detailed above. As you identify potential profiles, we can work together to review and adjust until we find the ideal fit for our needs. We want to ensure that we are comfortable with the profiles presented.
