About the Role

The Decision Science team at Glassdoor is pivotal in driving strategy and decision-making across the company through predictive analytics, testing, and optimization. We tackle a broad spectrum of challenges by proactively identifying opportunities, prioritizing product initiatives, and shaping business strategy. This unique role involves close collaboration with various Product and Go-To-Market teams to explore opportunities to improve outcomes and insights for our customers and customer-facing teams. As our Data Scientist, you will provide insights and recommendations to improve our customer experience and retention, support efforts to expand and improve our customer reporting, and lead the exploration and implementation of models to drive business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with various Product and Go To Market teams to analyze what drives success for our customers and customer facing teams and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Support and optimize recurring reporting processes for customer metrics and explore opportunities for delivering deeper insights to customers on their employer brands.
  • Lead the exploration and implementation of models that produce compelling claims on the impact of our B2B products on customer outcomes.
  • Explore and implement models that help optimize our B2B sales and marketing efforts.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders, ensuring organized and strategic alignment with broader company goals.

What You’ll Bring

  • A commitment to add  to our culture of DEI
  • 2+ years of data science/decision science/analytics experience, ideally with experience supporting Go-To-Market (Sales and Customer Success) teams in the Tech industry
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and Tableau required
  • Experience with statistical models highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Strong self-motivation and a proactive approach, with the ability to ask pertinent questions and follow up with stakeholders to obtain necessary information
  • Highly organized thought process and a structured framework for problem-solving, ensuring alignment of work with company strategies
  • Experience working with large data sets, modeling, statistics, and A/B & multivariate testing

Compensation and Benefits

Canada – Base Salary Range*: $119,400 – $149,300

*Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.

Generous Restricted Stock Units (RSU): 

***Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, there are additional RSU grant awards for top performers.

Where-to-Work Policy
Being a remote-first company, Glassdoor employees can live anywhere Glassdoor is a registered company. Requests to move must be approved by an employee’s manager and the People team.
