Department Overview
The Service Design Tools & Infrastructure (SDTI) team is a strategic component of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), responsible for providing exceptional Service Design & innovative technology solutions to enable and empower MSI Centralized Managed Support Operations to meet and exceed customer’s expectations.
Job Description
This position requires a highly skilled and self-motivated individual who maintains high quality in his/her work while still meeting committed deadlines.
We are looking for a data scientist who will help us discover and extract actionable business insights in vast amounts of data, use the latest modeling tools to perform analytical tasks, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better tools.
The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for tools suite and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/machine learning algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. They will present their work to our leadership team at the end of the internship.
Technical Experience

Knowledge of Python with experience in data extraction, analysis, integration and interpretation

Knowledge and experience with Databases like Postgres, Redshift, MSSQL

Knowledge with SQL and Scripting

Strengths in Working with Data and ability to tune SQL Queries for high performance

Knowledge in AWS Environment

Experience to read data from multiple sources and cleanse, enhance and analyze the data.

Basic Requirements
- All Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science or an IT related field
- Graduation date must be on or after December 1, 2025
