Join our team as a Data Scientist (m/f/d) where you’ll leverage your expertise in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis to address strategic challenges. 
You will be shaping tomorrow’s Telefonica network with the insights and ML use cases that you create, all in cooperation with stakeholders from management, network, business, strategy & operations.
Ready to contribute to the transformation of Technology organization towards a cloud-based landscape to shape the future? If you’re a self-reliant, results-oriented professional with a passion for data-driven solutions, this role is ideal for you. Knowledge of German is a plus but not required.

What to expect

• #MachineLearning: Develop statistical models and Machine Learning solutions to tackle important strategic and operational issues, including tasks like optimizing network performance, enhancing customer experiences, and analyzing potential risks
• #Storytelling: Collaborate closely with various teams such as Network Planning, Marketing, Strategy, and other key stakeholders to generate accurate forecasts for aspects like traffic patterns, capacity needs, throughput planning, and customer experience management
• #Analytics: Gather and unify data from both the network and IT systems to uncover fresh insights and use cases, addressing critical strategic challenges and driving meaningful enhancements
• #ProductOwner & #StakeholderManagement: Provide guidance to the management team on analytical matters, ensuring informed decisions that support the business in its journey towards embracing artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and cloud platforms
• #Cloud: Continuously enhance our cloud-based data platforms and refine our data governance procedures to stay at the forefront of data-driven innovation

What you bring

• You hold a university degree in computer science, communications engineering, statistics, or a related field
• You’ve got 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Data Mining, or working with Big Data technologies and products, and it’s even better if you’ve dabbled in Artificial Intelligence
• You’re savvy when it comes to statistics and using data-driven analytical methods. Plus, you’ve got a keen interest in all things Machine Learning and Data Science, like predicting future trends from historical data
• Python is your jam, and you’re no stranger to common ML tools like TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch. You’re also skilled at using tools like Tableau and Power BI to make sense of big data
• You’re the kind of person who gets things done and takes ownership of projects from start to finish. You’re self-reliant, structured, and results-oriented, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You speak English fluently, and if you know German, that’s a plus
