Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Data Scientist to join our Product Development team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive consistently high performance in our risk modelling operations through a sharp focus on data science. You will be instrumental in implementing new capabilities and upgrades, ensuring that our products stay ahead of the curve. A significant part of the role involves testing new features, requiring a meticulous and analytical approach. This role is heavily weighted towards computational skills (python, sql, and other data science tools). We are looking for someone experienced yet adaptable with innovative thinking with practical execution.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure High Performance in PD: Spearhead initiatives to enhance the performance of the Product
- Develop team, with a strong emphasis on data-driven strategies and solutions.
- Implement New Capabilities: Actively participate in the development and implementation of new features and upgrades, ensuring our products are innovative and competitive.
- Feature Testing: Conduct thorough testing of new features to guarantee they meet our high standards for quality and functionality.
- Focus on Computational Skills: Leverage advanced computational skills to contribute to the team, complementing the existing credit contributors with a unique, technical skill set.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to evolving product development needs while bringing innovative ideas to the table, balancing experience with flexibility in approach.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- 1-3 years in a modelling or data role
- Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously, attention to detail, adaptability, client focus
- Experience using python, sql, and other data science tools
