Job Description
The Role
Work within Central Risk & Compliance team to support stakeholders from the London office with activities listed below
- Provide excellent support on general compliance activities and general inquiries
- Proactively contribute to on-going development and process improvements
- Ensure regular responsibilities are accomplished
- Maintains effective and efficient back and forth communication (by phone or email) with requestors and stakeholders
- Assists in maintaining process documentation
Key Responsibilities
The main focus of the role is to provide assistance and support to their stakeholders in the central compliance team, including (but not restricted to):
Compliance Reporting and Statistics
- Creating compliance reports packs containing key compliance statistics
- Prepare statistics and presentations on queries when needed
Compliance & Legal queries
- Secondary contact for managing Compliance & Legal mailbox
Intranet editing
- Responsibility for updating and amending the on-line Professional Standards and Risk Management pages
- Keeping track of changes and updates to pages
Training Mailbox
- Review and resolve the queries received for risk training
- Updating training records for individuals when required
- Coordinating with the Academy TechSupport team to help resolve the technical issues faced by individuals while completing their training
- Reporting on training completion
Training
- Training new team members on the above mentioned workstreams.
Other
- Horizon scanning exercise conducted with ERM (Risk team)
- Supporting the central compliance team in the process of completion the ACD from all employees of the firm, including clarifying queries and reporting of defaulters
- Providing support to the Data Privacy team – collating and sending emails on matters with personal data
- Supporting DAC6 teams on variety of activities such as preparing monthly cross office matters report
- Liaising with the VX team and arranging to send out monthly PS updates
- Supporting on the annual exercise of preparing modern slavery statement by the firm
Qualifications
Your experience
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor’s/master’s degree from a reputed institute
- A certification in the Compliance domain is desirable
- 7+years experience working in a Compliance function handling variety of Compliance activities is preferred
- Experience at a multinational organisation, preferably working in a similar role
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel)
- Proficient in creating excel and Power BI reports

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels within the firm
- Ability to communicate persuasively and clearly
- Influencing and negotiation skills
Organisational/Strategic/Job-related skills
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and proven experience of prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
- Flexible, proactive, and ability to multi-task
- Good time management skills
- Willingness to learn and to grow with the company and motivated to take on additional projects and solve problems
