Job Description

About myPlace HealthmyPlace Health was founded in 2021 by mission-aligned healthcare leaders and organizations that are committed to drastically improving health outcomes, quality and experience for vulnerable older adults and frail seniors. We specialize in providing value-based, comprehensive care and coverage for older adults with significant needs so they can thrive in the homes they love and in the communities they cherish.  Our mission is simple: to enable older adults to live the independent lives they deserve. We pursue this mission through our myPlace PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model, which provides seamless primary care, integrated health plan coverage, personalized social engagement, and customized services delivered in the participant’s preferred place.   myPlace Health is building a mission-driven team that shares our passion for redefining the way older adults experience care as they “age in place” in the community. This is a unique opportunity to take on one of our country’s most challenging healthcare problems and join a fast-growing, dynamic team as we prepare to scale our mission to serve more markets.
Are you passionate about using data to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives? This is a unique opportunity for a mission-driven analytics leader to create a cutting-edge platform that drives real change—improving health outcomes, quality of care, and the overall experience for frail and disabled older adults.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our enterprise data strategy while rolling up your sleeves to build impactful reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and ad hoc analyses that empower every team across our organization. Your work will directly support our integrated payer-provider care model, helping us solve important questions and make data-driven decisions that truly matter.
As a collaborative leader, you’ll partner closely with colleagues from all areas of the organization, helping them uncover insights and translate data into action. You’ll also be a key player in strategic planning, using your analytical expertise to identify high-impact initiatives and performance improvement opportunities. Together, we’ll create a healthier, more compassionate future for the seniors we serve.

What You’ll Do as Director, Enterprise Analytics and Insights

  • Serve as the accountable business owner for our enterprise analytics function
  • Design our analytics capability roadmap, which includes business intelligence insights across health outcomes, care delivery operations, health plan operations, quality, compliance, and financial performance
  • Creatively leverage information pulled from across the organization and integrate that information into our analytics suite
  • Provide strategic guidance to our data architecture and platform plan, data integrations, data lakes, and data governance to support the analytics roadmap
  • Develop our enterprise performance management platform and tool(s) from the ground up and in a scalable manner to support our growth, continuing to refine those reports and KPIs over time
  • Act as an individual contributor with a roll-up-the-sleeves approach to building our analytics capabilities from the ground up (i.e., leading coding strategy and often also doing the coding work yourself wherever needed)
  • Provide ad hoc analyses to support key functional leaders and the questions they are trying to solve
  • Build and integrate predictive models, risk stratification, and machine learning tools into our analytics suite that enhance the insights we provide across key functional areas, with special focus on informing how we personalize care plans, tailor interventions, and identify potential care/quality/compliance improvement opportunities
  • Across all outputs, design and customize visual presentations that maximize the insights that key business leaders glean from analyses
  • Partner and collaborate with other senior leaders as an advisor and consultant to help them make data-informed decisions
  • Develop strategies with other accountable leaders to ensure integrity, reliability, and accuracy of data in the various systems used throughout the organization
  • Design our enterprise analytics based off a deep understanding of care delivery workflows, clinical pathways, quality goals, compliance requirements, and cross-functional dependencies across our end-to-end operating model
  • Mentor, coach, and guide team members across the organization on the fundamentals of healthcare economics
  • Contribute analysis support to research, publications and white papers that showcase selected outcomes and insights
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory and compliance requirements related to PACE and HIPAA; integrate new regulatory requirements into our analytics platform
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in population health management and value-based care analytics, and proactively integrate them into our analytics platform roadmap
  • Manage a high-performing and collaborative team that grows over time to support our analytics platform
  • Ability to be onsite up to 2 days per week

What Makes You a Great Fit
