Job Description

The Education Analyst is a key member of our data analytics team, responsible for performing detailed analysis of varied educational data sets and delivering insights that support the objectives of our educational partners. This role requires a deep understanding of K-12 education, a technical skill set in data analysis and a creative approach to problem-solving to provide continuous support and innovative solutions to our partners’ data needs. The Education Analyst will work under the direction of the Director of Education Data Analytics and will contribute significantly to projects and strategic initiatives through expert data handling and analysis. This role will work closely with a cross-functional team including a Partner Engagement Manager and Learning Integration Specialist to ensure coherent meaningful support for our partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough and complex data analyses to extract meaningful insights that support partner goals. Prepare detailed reports and presentations that clearly communicate these insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner Support: Work directly with educational partners to understand their data needs and challenges. Provide ongoing support and tailored solutions that enhance their decision-making processes and educational outcomes.
  • Solution Development: Assist in the development and refinement of data-driven tools and solutions, ensuring they are effectively tailored to meet the specific needs of our partners.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the data team and cross-functional teams to contribute to larger projects and initiatives, ensuring the integration and alignment of data analysis with overall strategic goals.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Continuously explore new data sources, analytical techniques, and technological advancements to enhance the analytics capabilities of the team.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in education data analytics and share relevant findings and best practices with the team to foster a learning environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Education, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an educational or EdTech setting.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Ability to work On-site at our Fresno, CA office. Relocation opportunities are not being offered at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Data Analysis or related field.

Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications and experience. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits. Our Hiring Manager can share more information about the salary range specific to your working location and other factors during the hiring process.
