Purpose of the role:
As the Environmental Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to collect, monitor, analyze, and report environmental data to enhance our environmental control system. You will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for improvement and providing valuable insights and suggestions to optimize our environmental performance. You will support the completion and distribution of the data through among others dashboards and SharePoint site on a monthly basis to the plants, the BU’s and the regions. You will have the responsibility to maintain the Environmental Control Standards in the Trivium organization and train the locations on the correct submission of the data. On a yearly basis you will coordinate the Environmental Control Standard questionnaire to the plants and analyze the results.
Your responsibilities:
- Oversee the systematic collection of environmental data from plants
- Implement and maintain data collection protocols to capture relevant information, including energy consumption, waste generation, water usage, and other key sustainability metrics
- Collaborate with plant teams to ensure comprehensive coverage and accuracy in data collection
- Conduct in-depth analyses to assess the environmental impact of plant operations and identify areas for improvement
- Support third party data validation.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing environmental performance metrics, trends, and analysis results. Communicate findings to key stakeholders, including plant management and corporate leadership
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our environmental control standards based on data analysis and observations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize environmental performance.
- Review the implementation of the Environmental Control Standards with the manufacturing locations on a yearly basis through questionnaires and follow-ups.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback, implementing best practices, and pursuing opportunities for innovation in environmental data management and analysis.

This role will suit you if you have the following:
- Master degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science or related field
- Previous experience in environmental data management, analysis, or related roles preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
- Capability to interpret complex data patterns and trends, providing valuable insights into the environmental performance of the organization
- Ability to conduct insightful analyses, and producing clear and impactful reports maintaining the highest standards of data quality throughout the entire process
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Pragmatic and focused on execution, with a flexible mindset
- Familiarity with carbon footprint measurement tools, sustainability reporting frameworks are preferred
- Fluent in English; ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Dutch, German, French, Spanish) is a strong advantage
