The Position

We are looking for an Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) Domain Lead that will have a high profile position responsible for establishing, guiding and championing enterprise-wide financial master data governance for the Ledger (Finance) & Assets domain.

The domain lead is accountable to establish and drive the governance of his domain. To achieve this they establish a round table with stakeholders from different value streams, organizations and projects to align the master data approaches across the enterprise. Promotes single-source-of-truth’, and is accountable for fit for purpose master data. 

Your Opportunity:

  • Define, develop, clearly and effectively communicate, implement and maintain and, above all, champion Enterprise Ledger & Assets master data.

  • Take ownership of the Ledger & Assets domain board to work with all relevant stakeholders across the enterprise and drive all governance aspects of it, such as change management, maintenance, information model and implementation roadmaps

  • Promotes master data as an asset and the adoption of a data-driven mindset by nurturing a FAIR data product approach and data literacy. Promote data citizenship mindset by empowering people to own their piece of the data

  • Collaborate with the EMDM Board to drive the continued development of the EMDM Framework and integrated roadmap and adopting the agreed framework

  • Influences the organizational setup to improve the effectiveness of managing and supplying master data.

  • Own the domain and drive it with an agile mindset across the enterprise

Who you are:

  • Required qualifications include a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business/Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience, 10+ years of experience in functional and strategic master data management, with a focus on senior-level data governance practices and should also have at least 3 years of experience working with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce, across multiple business units.

  • Experience in implementing enterprise-wide ledger governance models, preferably in the healthcare industry, is desired.

  • Knowledge of business processes in the life sciences industry, FDA/EMA regulations, and data privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA) is important.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and networking skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization.

  • A background in consulting or business management services is a plus, and a proven track record of delivering results in a matrixed organization is desired.

  • The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to operate in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment, and have experience with agile methodologies and organizations.
