About the Opportunity
The ESO Data Product Lead is a critical role within the ERP Support Office (ESO) that leads a team of professionals that design, develop, and administer data management and analytic support structures and services that deliver value to a broad set of Federal Reserve System (FRS) stakeholders and customers. The ERP Support Office is a system organization that is responsible for supporting the Workday and SAP Ariba ERP platform that brings together our Finance, Human Resources and Procurement Systems into one solution.
This role is accountable for all aspects of the ERP Data Product, including strategy and program management, data management operations (people, processes, technology) as well as reporting and analytics.
This role is an integral member of the ERP Support Office team and will be responsible for developing a culture that promotes data and analytics as a critical enterprise asset. This will include forging strategic partnerships throughout the organization to ensure alignment of data-centric requirements with available IT and business resources and to continually assess whether or not the services the teams provide are meeting the needs of our key stakeholders and customers.
What You Will Do:
- Sets priorities and manages the ERP Data Product, including strategy and program management, data management development, operations, and data and analytics.
- Drives and maintains cross functional collaboration within all areas of the ESO ERP Support Office, embodying a ‘one team’ approach to promote connectedness, alignment and optimization towards common objectives and outcomes.
- Forges strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to communicate and promote the Data Management Program vision, strategy, goals, and objectives to promote buy-in and alignment.
- Partners with lines of business, Reserve Banks, and other key stakeholders to develop a data and analytics strategy and roadmap that supports and aligns to business priorities.
- Anticipate opportunities for new Data and Analytical capabilities based on research and analysis of business strategies and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Architecture to drive the Conceptual and Logical Data Architecture for the Analytic Target Platform
- Set expectations, coaches, develops, and holds teams accountable to provide a consistent service delivery in a matrixed environment and to continually enhance data analytics capabilities.
- Develops, implements, and continually improves processes, procedures, and standards to consistently deliver business value from data analytics.
- Oversees the development and implementation of a data governance framework that establishes standard data management policies, standards, processes, and compliance.
- Actively participates and/or serves on Federal Reserve System (FRS) data management governance bodies and advisory groups, ensuring ESO data related needs are well represented and maintain alignment with System direction.
- Supports organizational change management driving data management ongoing evolution and maturity.
- Redefines complex data ownership dynamics and manages relationships with leadership bodies across the System to promote and expand data sharing arrangements.
- Drives data environment simplification in alignment with System data architecture and strategy
- Drives democratized reporting and analytics capabilities, with business function and district groups embraced and enabled, but guided to best practices and standardized toolsets.
- Constructs the Data Management Program in such a manner that it is extensible to other data domains beyond Finance, HR, and Procurement
- Promotes collaboration across business and IT organizations.
- Responsible for executive communications
- Partners with the ERP Executive to develop budget and cost models.

- Ability to envision, build and mature a data management and analytics function and team
- Ability to facilitate organizational and behavioral change as it relates to data governance, data management and analytics.
- Knowledge of leveraging core, data, and analytical services in AWS cloud to create solutions that enable scalable and flexible customer solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodology team development processes, practices, and management.
- Proven success leading large complex Data Management, Warehouse and BI programs.
- Ability to create a data governance methodology and mature data governance processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing. Strong decision-making skills
- Exceptional personnel skills in the creation and maintenance of lasting, productive partnerships within a diverse workforce

- Builds and manages a team of highly capable and effective data management and analytics professionals and contributes to the overall data management maturity of the ERP platform managed by the ESO.
- Has overseen and implemented data governance and data management programs in decentralized, federated environments.

- The hiring range of the Proj/Prog Mgmt Tech – Sr Mgr is $125,900 – $157,400 annually.
- Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
