Job Description:

Job Title – ETL QA

Location – Bangalore

Role Description

• Testing ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness and integrity throughout the extraction, transformation and loading processes.
• Scripting knowledge to automate the processes.
• Expert in tools like SQL, Python/Java, ETL testing frameworks, Tableau or Google looker.
• Develop and automate test scripts for ETL workflows, data pipelines to ensure database testing coverage.
• Identifying quality issues, collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers to understand data requirements.

Your key responsibilities

• Test ETL software
• Scripting knowledge to automate the processes.
• Test components of ETL data warehouse
• Execute backend data-driven test
• Create, design and execute test cases, test plans and test harness.
• Identify the problem and provide solutions for potential issues.
• Approve requirements and design specifications.
• Data transfers and Test flat file
• Writing SQL queries3 for various scenarios like count test

Your skills and experience

SQL, Python/Java, ETL testing frameworks, Tableau or Google looker having more than 5+ years’ experience
