Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced or Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to join the Fulfillment BPS & Warehouse Business Transformation team in Renton, Washington.

The successful candidate should be an experienced Data Analytics to support the creation of visibility metrics – Fulfillment Value Stream Dashboard. The individual will work closely with business users, data teams, data analysts, & program focal(s) to design and implement architecture, tools, and metrics/KPI needed to provide reports supporting data-driven decision making & best practice sharing.

Execution of the Boeing Production System (BPS) needs to be incorporated into all design elements, satisfying the program & Supply Chain Fulfillment requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop data solutions end-to-end, from gathering requirements from business stakeholders to partnering with Data team and other analysts to implement
  • Define, instrument, and maintain new and existing business KPIs from scratch, leveraging SQL queries and beyond
  • Build ETLs, automations to ensure we can understand and act on business performance accurately, scalable, with low latency, and minimal manual upkeep
  • Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards – using Tableau or other tools – to surface business performance and scalable support data-driven decision making
  • Ensure data quality always meets our standards, by monitoring performance, diagnosing issues, and creating solutions
  • Answer complex business questions via ad-hoc SQL queries to enable business owners to make critical decisions
  • You will be working alongside a team of other Business Intelligence team members and customers in creating, maintaining, and updating our Digital Dashboard website
  • Responsible for designing Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives.
  • Combines programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, Washington.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Engineering/Data Analytics tools and applications (such as IBM Cognos Analytics, SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics)
  • 3+ years of experience in database development using SQL
  • 3+ years of experience in ETL (extract-transform-load)
  • Working knowledge and experience with website development and design

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining scripts and tools to enable faster data consumption and reduce manual labor intensity
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain fulfillment operational processes
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, SAS or Java

Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience, 9 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Senior (level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Senior (level 4) summary pay range: $119,850 – $162,150
