As Financial Business Analyst at Remedy, you will work on the Analytics & Product Innovation (API) Team, where you will work alongside other teams with a common goal of improving our products and staying ahead of market trends, while also doing our best to meet milestones and support API Team’s timelines. The Financial Business Analyst will take initiative to communicate with stakeholders, including internal users, on projects and assignments in order to ensure objectives are met. This role will include projects that support the sales process, our existing client base, as well as new initiatives that support the expansion of Remedy’s product offerings. Responsibilities will include the utilization of basic querying methods, analysis and interpretation of external datasets, and modeling to provide forecasts for several functional teams within Remedy. The Financial Business Analyst at Remedy will work with others to assist with the documentation and improvement of processes within the organization to execute the strategic vision and growth of the company. The successful candidate is a team player who is creative, organized, proactive, and detailed-oriented.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define business and technical requirements based on business problems.
- Perform PBM contract review and financial savings forecast analysis
- Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional requirements prior to finished output becoming available in production.
- Assist with identification and validation of high potential business opportunities for stakeholders.
- Perform impact analysis as needed related to product changes/enhancements, R&D, and data investigations.
- Take part in the development of team strategies that are aligned with corporate strategic objectives.
- Perform requirement gathering sessions to gather information from stakeholders.
- Assist with documentation and tracking the life-cycle of product development projects.
- Work independently to perform data analysis and report findings to different department stakeholders
- Work on multiple projects & requests (sometimes with quick turnaround) and be able to prioritize tasks accordingly
- Ability to perform data analysis including forecasts without having complete datasets
- Work with the team in an effort to handle requirements, change, and defect tracking.
- Querying data through a variety of interfaces to track quality, integrity, and perform what-if analyses when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. Computer Science, Business Analytics or similar field/experience
- Experience with Pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical data and benefit design.
- At least three years’ experience with SQL or related programming language. PL/SQL a plus.
- Strong understanding of Excel and Access
- Hands on knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with relational databases, data at scale, warehousing and data loading
- Experience with Python, R, Java and/or other programming languages.
- Broad understanding of business intelligence, reporting and statistics a plus.
Pay Range
80000 – 100000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
