Position Summary

As a Fintech Product Data Analyst you will be exposed to the international Digital Insurance and Fintech added-value services Ecosystem within a fast-paced technology organization. Your main responsibilities will be to routinely monitor and analyze customer facing Fintech products’ performance by assessing quantitative and qualitative metrics, combine travel and industry related knowledge to understand multivariable implications, develop relevant reports and methodologies to ensure goal accomplishment and experiment on products optimizations.

Additionally, you will collaborate with internal departments as well as external partners to manage interdependencies, propose optimizations and participate in new solution developments/projects that ensure a high level of automation while increasing company value. The ideal candidate must have excellent investigative skills, problem-solving attitude, great business acumen and project management skills.

You will be located in Athens and will be part of the Etraveli Group Fintech organization.

Responsibilities

  • Become Subject Matter Expert on analyzing customer facing Fintech products including Digital Insurance and other added-value services.
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly KPI analysis and work closely with the Fintech product/ solutions team in order to maximize the company’s impact.
  • Take initiative to introduce new routines, new KPIs and new approaches in an attempt to maximize Fintech products’ performance in terms of sales and profitability.
  • Perform analysis on the basis of business problems in order to define solutions and deliver requirements for development.
  • Fully manage dedicated reporting package aiming to monitor relevant KPIs performance and document the requirements for the implementation of reports, models and dashboards on the company’s BI system.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects across fintech and travel-tech areas that are related to departments’ KPI improvements and overall performance uplift.
  • Continuously seek for automations within the data analysis area to promote real time alerts, provide input to accommodate machine learning development and promote automations.
  • Resolve possible operational issues with regards to fintech set up related to third party providers. Keep up-to-date documentation with logs on incidents/changes.
  • Identify areas of risk, evaluate and escalate to the relevant teams while being able to create comprehensive material, present and discuss relevant findings with different teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics, Business, Science, Technology or Engineering
  • Approximately 2-3 years working experience in a similar analyst position
  • Experience/knowledge of the fintech area, digital insurance ecosystem or/and in large data analysis under a top down/ bottom up approach will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in reporting solutions (e.g. Qlikview, Qliksense, Looker etc.) will be highly appreciated. Advanced experience with MS office (especially excel)
  • Strong numerical & organizational skills combined with business understanding
  • Data-driven/360 view thinking along with strong critical, analytical and investigation skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to take ownership in a fast growing environment
  • Ability to act proactively, take initiatives and pay attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, can-do approach & excellent command of the English language
  • High level of responsibility & integrity combined with eagerness to work in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes
