About the role 

Our Hybrid Intelligence team at Capgemini Engineering is responsible for intelligently applying data science and machine learning technologies to deliver innovative and multidisciplinary solutions to our clients. We work for different sectors such as: Aerospace, Automotive, Pharma, Engineering, Industrial, Oil & Gas, among others.  

As part of this team you will work on a wide variety of innovative projects that make a difference, merging applied mathematics, scientific computing, Artificial Intelligence and software engineering. 

As a key part of our fast-growing DATA SCIENCE AND AI CONSULTANCY TEAM, you will lead a team of data scientists and engineers to solve interesting, real-world problems that truly make a difference. Supported by our global knowledge base and network of skilled practitioners, and assisted by ongoing professional development and training, you will be a visible face of our technical solutions within Spain.

What we are looking for?

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Significant professional experience applying data science, AI, machine learning and computational techniques.
A genuine enthusiasm for using AI to solve complex problems, and an understanding of the algorithms, data processing methods and visualization techniques required.
Experience of leading and managing highly performing teams.
A Masters or PhD in science, computer science, mathematics or engineering.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts.
Professional level ability in Spanish and English.
Business analysis and project management skills would be an advantage.
