For our new Technology Center in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) we are looking for a

 

Global Active Ingredient (AI) Finance Manager (m/f/d)

 

The Global Active Ingredient (AI) Finance Manager is responsible for leading all Manufacturing Finance activities related to AI plants. In this position you will lead a diverse team of 10 and you will report to the Global Operations Finance (OF) Director and play a key role in overseeing AI Plants finance operations as OF transitions to a global operating model.

 

 

 

What you do with us

 

  • Lead the AI plants manufacturing plants budget, forecast and management reporting process
  • Establish business partnership with Global AI Operations leadership teams across manufacturing and supply chain with focus on value-add analysis on future opportunities for growth as well as cost optimization
  • Lead the CAPEX reporting for the Finance function involving partnering with Capital Manager and multiple plants/engineers to ensure efficient application of Capital funding as well as determining post- project metrics
  • Monthly reviews with VP Operations and Global Director FPA on global AI performance and expected future results vs Budget and vs prior forecast.  This extends to SAR, CAPEX and EBIT.
  • Responsible for Duty Drawback claims/process in excess of $16m per annum
  • Management of the ABHK entity which controls the majority of AI intermediate processing costs; understanding the different business model; standardizing the financial approach to costing; optimizing/changing system requirements to meet the specific entity needs
  • Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operations finance for manufacturing plants. Monitor and drive initiatives to improve KPIs across manufacturing plants
  • Partner with the business to provide finance insights that improve business outcomes
  • Support strategic ad-hoc project requests including financial modeling, process improvement and system optimization

 

 

 

Your qualifications

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting or other relevant field. MBA or related graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within the Finance or Accounting disciplines with focus on FP&A/Sourcing analytics
  • Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience required
  • Global experience in finance leadership roles managing supervisor/manager level reports
  • Experience with all aspects of financial reporting cycle including development of annual budget, monthly forecast, management reporting, financial projections and operations expense management required
  • Ability to manage medium to complex projects, from inception to execution
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and influence different partners (local or remote)
