Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, Data Management, Global Programmes and IT teams
  • translating complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements for MDM solutions
  • facilitating communication and understanding between non-technical business users and technical IT professionals 
  • conducting thorough analyses to understand and document business processes and data needs
  • eliciting and documenting business requirements for MDM initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals and strategies
  • creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and data flow diagram
  • collaborating with IT teams to design MDM solutions that meet the documented business requirements
  • assisting in the development and implementation of data models, data governance policies, data standards and data quality rules
  • participating in testing phases, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business needs
  • supporting the establishment and maintenance of data governance frameworks
  • monitoring data quality, identifying data quality issues, and recommending improvements
  • assisting in the development of metrics and reporting tools to track the effectiveness of MDM solutions
  • supporting SMEs with training sessions and workshops on MDM processes and tools
  • working closely with various stakeholders to ensure understanding and adoption of MDM practices
  • assisting in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities related to MDM initiatives
  • coordinating with various teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of MDM projects
  • managing risks and issues, reporting to management and stakeholders as needed.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in a data related role
  • background in FMCG industry is preferred
  • understanding of data quality, governance and lifecycle management 
  • able to translate business requirements into data requirements
  • strong communication skills with ability to be concise and manage stakeholder expectations
  • display professionalism, customer service attitude, attention to detail and quality 
  • experience of delivering high-quality project outcomes to agreed timelines
  • experience with the SAP ERP specific on Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master and Finance data objects (depends on the domain)
  • knowledge of GS1 Industry Standards and e-Commerce is a plus.
