Key accountabilities

  • Be accountable for the architecture, design and delivery and build the best in class Media Data product that provides all round insights to the retail media – from audience and customer insights to inventory, campaign through serve.
  • Build secured scalable platform to deliver the product vision across Media Analytics, Experimentation and Optimization, Science engine, Data Science Apps, Insights and Media planning tools, Yield Optimization, Measurement platform and related capabilities.
  • Ensure Data Quality, consistency and availability across the end to end Retail Media journey.
  • Provide the best-in-class science engine, the optimization and experimentation capabilities powered by data and metrics.
  • Build dashboard and provide access to KPIs on a self-serviceable basis to different stakeholders internally and externally. Provide access to data through different methods like streaming, API and batch.
  • Provide insights to CPGs, Agency and brand on every campaign with key metrics like ROAS, CPM, CPC and the effective yield.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Media Product – Measurement and Insights to ensure close and effective working relationships.
  • Manage coach, and develop a high performing measurement and insights team.
  • Take accountability for non-functional outcomes including security, performance, availability, and reliability. Our teams operate with a DevOps mindset, running what they build. This includes in and out-of-hours support.
  • Manage the budgets and staffing plans to achieve the product vision and roadmaps and balance the unforeseen additional needs of the business against the planned spend.
  • You are also encouraged to contribute more widely across Technology as a senior leader.
  • Understand and adopt retail data trends, be agile and experimental and bring innovation to work everyday.
  • Manage risk effectively, provide visible and consistent leadership on Values and Code of Business Conduct and act where you see issues. Protect our team by ensuring they have the skills and training needed.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any relevant subject.
  • Deep experience in data and insights product, building large complex data platform and product development experience.
  • Experience in Product Analytics, Experimentation and Optimization.
  • Deep digital and connected store/ omni-channel experience.
  • Extensive experience in global media alliances and partnerships.
  • Extensive experience in managing, leading and evolving a large, technical globally distributed data team through the agile development lifecycle.
  • Depth of professional software engineering experience and standard methodologies across the full development process.
  • Experience with big data and the associated platform and processes.
  • Strong background in secure, reliable distributed systems at scale
  • Knowledge and experience of cloud technologies, (preferably GCP or Azure) and programming languages (Scala, Spark, Hadoop, kafka, etc), relational DB and no-sql, analytical and reporting tools and frameworks.
  • Experience in media data products and technologies, standards, vendor products, competitive products, emerging technology, etc.
  • Creation of thought leadership (whitepapers, conference speaking) and passion to stay ahead on consumer, technology and industry trends around customer experience, data and insight.
  • Experience in working in a global role and creation of thought leadership.
