Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize complex data sets and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. The analyst will work closely with the HR and Finance teams to develop insightful and actionable reports that support data-driven decision-making. The candidate should possess a creative outlook and be keen on presenting analyses with different perspectives. This role requires a self-starter attitude and the ability to develop reports in Power BI from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for workforce utilization, HR metrics, and financial forecasting.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

·       Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.

·       Present data analysis in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner.

·       Use advanced Power BI features, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals, to enhance the user experience and report functionality

Report Development:

·       Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize workforce utilization, HR data, and financial forecasting.

·       Create and manage reports from scratch, ensuring they are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the needs of the HR and Finance teams.


Data Integration:

·       Integrate data from various sources including HRIS, financial systems, and other databases to create comprehensive reports.


Forecasting and Trend Analysis:

·       Develop and manage financial forecasting models and bench reports to support strategic planning.

·       Utilize data analysis techniques to assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

·       Identify trends and patterns in workforce and financial data to support strategic planning.

·       Analyze the utilization and productivity of all employees, including billable resources, to provide comprehensive productivity insights.


Automation:
Automate routine reporting tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.


Data Quality:
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by implementing data quality checks and balances.


Collaboration:

·       Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Maintaining data quality and making BI reports on Resources data for team.

·       Monitoring and analysing utilization of the POD leaders and their resources.

·       Analysing and maintaining quality of multi view reports from Data warehouse.

·       Updating Skill Set Matrix of new resources.


Data Management:

·       Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits and validation.

·       Integrate data from various sources to create comprehensive datasets for analysis.


Training:
Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI report usage and interpretation.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and Power BI development.

Technical Skills:

·       Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.

·       Microsoft certifications related to Power BI, SQL Server, or other relevant technologies.

·       Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.

·       Strong knowledge of SQL and data manipulation.

·       Experience with HRIS and financial systems.

·       Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

·       Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

·       Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

·       Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

·       Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
