Job Description

To understand the various data sources, how the data flows through the organization and provide expertise and support through translating business needs into tangible solutions by analyzing data, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending improvements to data pipelines, data quality, metadata, master and reference data, data access management.

  • Source, extract, collate, clean and redesign relevant data
  • Analyse, interpret and transform raw data into meaningful and useful information
  • Produce management information and business summaries to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational insights and decision-making
  • Query, clean and mine large data sets, and connect data from disparate sources to identify insights and patterns
  • Conduct statistical analysis, such as linear and logistic regression, time-series analysis, and classification models and deliver accurate and high-quality analysis (e.g. NPV modelling, test design and analysis, risk modelling)
  • Apply business, Group and relevant industry knowledge to analysis and insights
  • Develop improved methodologies and methods for accessing, analysing and presenting data: researches new data sources and analytical tools with the aim of improving the process and underlying data analysis
  • Ensure the quality of data is accurately measured, tracked and reported on and that the appropriate level of documentation is kept according to prescribed requirements
  • Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared
  • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders to achieve productivity synergies
  • Preparation of departmental reports on a monthly, quarterly and adhoc basis including BOZ Return, Workers
