About this role

Overview:

The Insight Data Service (IDS) team provides world-class expertise in the collection and validation of investment data for investors in alternative assets. IDS streamlines the exchange of data between limited and general partners, allowing investors the continuous access to accurate and standardized data. Insight Data Service is a part of Aladdin Business.

The Aladdin Business is comprised of 1,200+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients, sales and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.

Role Description

The Insight Data Service is seeking an Operations Team Lead which will provide day-to-day leadership and support to reports collection and validation within the team and ensure timely and accurate processing of submissions and campaigns. Team Lead would support recruiting, staffing, and onboarding processes of new joiners as appropriate. The role will perform development of quarterly action plans to address individual performance in relationship to team performance.

Key responsibilities include:

•Assist in leading and motivating a team of Investment Data Analyst professionals.

•Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

•Identify areas for process improvement.

•Implement and oversee enhancements to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.

•Ensure adherence to quality standards and operational procedures.

•Conduct regular audits to identify and address areas for improvement.

•Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members.

•Support the professional development of team members through coaching and mentorship.

•Assist in gathering and analyzing operational data to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

•Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

•Foster a collaborative and positive working relationship with internal stakeholders.

•Address operational challenges in a proactive and solution-oriented manner.

•Escalate issues to management when necessary, providing recommended solutions.

Experience Required

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.

•3-6 years’ experience

•Previous experience in operations, administration, or a related field.

•Strong organizational and time management skills.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.

•Advanced MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
