About this role

Overview:

The Insight Data Service (IDS) team provides world-class expertise in the collection and validation of investment data for investors in alternative assets. IDS streamlines the exchange of data between limited and general partners, allowing investors the continuous access to accurate and standardized data. Insight Data Service is a part of Aladdin Business.

The Aladdin Business is comprised of 1,200+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients, sales and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.

Role Description

The Insight Data Service is seeking an Operations Team Lead which will provide day-to-day leadership and support to reports collection and validation within the team and ensure timely and accurate processing of submissions and campaigns. Team Lead would support recruiting, staffing, and onboarding processes of new joiners as appropriate. The role will perform development of quarterly action plans to address individual performance in relationship to team performance.

Key responsibilities include:

•Lead a team focused on creation of the market leading Private Markets database and analytics ecosystem for two key products:

•Quarterly Fund & Asset level Services

•Cashflow & Capital Account Statement Services

•Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with overall Insight business objectives.

•Drive the planning and execution of the Insight expansion in India office, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.

•Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

•Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, promoting professional development and growth.

•Evaluate and enhance existing operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

•Implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve overall operational performance.

•Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

•Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing and implementing risk management strategies.

•Establish and maintain strong relationships with Limited Partners, General Partners, and other stakeholders.

•Manage resources effectively to meet operational demands and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

•Collaborate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition strategies.

•Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to track and analyze key operational metrics.

•Provide regular updates to senior management on the performance and progress of the India operations.

Experience Required

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.

•Proven experience in operations management.

•8+ years’ experience.

•Strong leadership and team management skills.

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

•Full business level proficiency in English

•Advanced MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
