The Insights Data Analyst is responsible for providing operational support, analytical support, and process improvement for the Enterprise Feedback Management Platform and other market research capabilities to inform and shape business decisions, and guide our journey towards an enhanced consumer and customer experience.

This position within the Global Insights function is responsible for supporting key global strategic initiatives across Transunion to identify experience gaps and opportunities to deliver a winning experience to our customers and consumers. The Global Insights team is focused on improving customer experience by continuously listening to customers, synthesizing the data, and proactively distributing the findings to empower customer-centric actions and decisions across the organization. This role will collaborate with insights consultants and others in the business to understand both the business and the data available to help provide strategic insights to the business stakeholder. You will be a vital part of a team driving change based on customer insights.
- You will help design and build insight driven research studies, reports, and dashboards that provide real-time and easy access to customer feedback across the organization
- You will help synthesize complex data and create presentations that display meaningful visual stories aligned to business objectives
- You will complete ad-hoc reporting and data analysis using querying and data visualization tools
- You will perform quality assurance on reporting and dashboard deliverables to ensure quality of both data and analysis
- You will extract, analyze and use data to build surveys, dashboards, reports and business cases to support continuous improvement efforts
- You will continuously monitor customer feedback dashboards to identify emerging trends and issues and perform deep dive analysis
- You will help build a more effective engine and supporting processes to improve team efficiency to better meet business partner needs and request volume.
- You will have consultancy mindset to help distill research intent from business questions, and then to help translate data into meaningful insight to answer the business questions.

- Agile experience is preferred
Impact You’ll Make:
What you’ll bring:
- 4+ years of experience in customer feedback or survey analytics, statistical analysis
- Bachelors in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Math or Analytics /BI related field
- Some Experience with building reports and dashboards using Tableau (or like)
- Some Experience using R or Python or SPSS or a similar scripting language/tool for statistical analysis
- Extensive Experience with creating reports, visualizations and dashboard and communicating results and analysis to different audiences
- Ability to work cross functionality and collaboratively
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
We’d love to see:
- Degree in marketing, business, statistics, mathematics, finance, computer science, engineering, economics
- 3-5 years working experience as a data analyst or a business data analyst would be valued
- Preferred certifications or education: Tableau, DOMO or Power BI certification
- JavaScript experience would be a plus
- Experience working with customer experience platform like Medallia and Qualtrics
- Experience working or in support of a CX / VoC Team
