Hybrid Roles:
Boston Scientific’s hybrid workplace includes WFH and onsite. You will have the opportunity to discuss details in the interview.
About the Role:
This opportunity will make you a part of Boston Scientific internship program that offers on-the-job training or project performed by university senior students at a company.
The internship will be for a period of up to 12 months and the student will receive a subsidy during their period on the company, during this time the student must be active in the university.
The Clinical Data Management function plays a key role in clinical research by controlling the information collected during a clinical trial. This team ensures the quality and integrity of patient data using various methods and tools to efficiently review thousands of case report forms entered by the clinical sites (hospitals).
Your Responsibilities Include:
- The role will include activities provide under supervisory direction, related with clinical data management.
- Review clinical data for completeness, accuracy and consistency in accordance with the investigational plan.
- Perform regular data cleaning tasks (such as listings review, queries management…) per Data Management processes and plan.
- Provides regular updates and escalate issues to the study Functional Leads.
- Provide direct support to the project team on data management activities.
- Maintain compliance with corporate, core and study-specific learning requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 70% of studies completed in Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Science, Veterinary, Medical Science or related field, and currently enrolled in the university.
- Basic knowledge of databases and programming languages (e.g. SAS or Python) is a plus.
- Good organization skills with a strong analytical mind, solution-oriented and with a positive attitude.
- English Level: 80%.
- Available for a temporary position (6-12 months).
