Are you a gamer and have you ever wondered how the game graphics is rendered out on the graphics card? Or you are a graphics geek, and you want to work on cool new techs? Come join SARC/ACL system and arch team, where you can work with the top graphics and compute architects. You’ll have an opportunity to assists team on research projects of various advanced graphics and compute technologies such as neural graphics, render image quality study, game workload analysis, ray tracing, de-noise, etc.

Minimum requirements

  • Pursuing a Master’s/Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related fields with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship.

  • Strong analytical skill

  • Knowledge of computer graphics or parallel computing.

  • C, C++ and python programming in a Linux environment.

  • Experience with GPU architecture modeling and

  • Experience with ML GPU acceleration & LLM shader optimization.

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Publication/Research record in VR/AR, Ray Tracing, other fields related to computer graphics or deep learning during the pursuit of Master’s/Ph.D. degree.

  • Experience in chip architecture design either for industrial usage or for academic prototype

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The hourly pay range for this role is between $32.00/hr. to $59.20/hr. Your actual hourly pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
