The Junior Business Systems Analyst supports the alignment of business needs with IT solutions by assisting in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform business decisions.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Data Collection & Processing: Analyze and prepare data for analysis.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Identify trends and create visualizations to communicate insights.
- Support Senior Analysts: Assist in developing reports and models.
- Generate Insights: Provide actionable data insights to business teams.
- Database Querying: Write basic SQL queries to extract data for analysis.
What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, computer science, or a related field.
- Data Analysis: Strong Excel skills, basic SQL, and experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of data management and database systems. Familiarity with programming (e.g., Python) and ETL tools (optional).
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify patterns and solve problems using data.
- Communication: Strong presentation skills for non-technical stakeholders and teamwork abilities.
