Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent critical thinking skills, a strong background in statistics, data science, or a related field, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They should also have familiarity with database management and data visualization tools, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, knowledge of sleep medicine and related fields such as neurology and psychology is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret research data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Acquire clinical data from primary or secondary data sources (e.g., SleepCharge programs) and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex CSAAT data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate code problems
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Attend external/internal clinical science team meetings to provide reports and information pertaining to current projects.
- Maintain all federal and state regulations regarding data safety and ethics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or working towards a Bachelor’s degree) preferably in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field
- Competency in VS Code (or equivalent data visualization tool) for data analytics
- Working knowledge of scripting or data mining tools, Python Preferred
- At least 6 months of medical or similar experience, preferred
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week
