Job Description

General Purpose:

 

As a Junior Decision Scientist, you will apply the full analytics toolkit to support in delivering analytics solutions and data insights connected to the user experience on digital platforms. The aim will be to enable fact-based decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Consulting:

 

  • Apply expertise in data analytics and statistics to support in answering key business questions through digital experience solutions.
  • Focus on understanding and analyzing data from the past and present perspectives to support in the creation of reliable insights for our stakeholders.

 

Analytics / Reporting:

 

  • Support the development of quantitative analysis, tools, ad hoc reports, and models that support decision making. Analysis areas might include (but not limited to): consumer journey in web and app, digital marketing and business performance.
  • Support in the production of data visualization such as charts, infographics, and dashboards to communicate findings and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders clearly and effectively.

 

Requirements, Education & Professional Experience:

 

  • A degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science or a similar quantitative field.

 

Hard-Skills:

 

  • Experience finding, cleaning and transforming large data sets to generate insights and build reports / dashboards.
  • Experience handling web/app data through tools such as Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Google Analytics.
  • Experience with SQL (e.g. aggregate functions, joins) NoSQL or other data querying languages.
  • Experience using Python, R or a similar scripting language for statistical modeling.
  • Statistical modeling and data analysis experience (e.g. significance testing, regression modeling, sampling theory etc.) and knowledge of probability and statistics.
  • Experience creating data visualization using tools such as e.g. Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy or something similar.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written.
