About the Role:

The Team: Security Management team aims to create an integrated risk management framework by interconnecting security reference identifiers. We work on product focused integration processes aimed at building a cross referenced framework which help create value for our clients. The team deals in ingestion of global reference identifiers from multiple vendors daily, along with running multiple checks on the database for various metrics. The team is also involved in resolving client issues with real time data corrections through vendor interactions. A section of the team is responsible for quality of the database by following sigma approach, making the database better than the industry standard.

The Impact:

  • Data is sourced from various Sources/Vendors and hence it becomes imperative to collect, analyze and ingest data within communicated SLAs and with best of quality.
  • Data ingested via different workflows has direct impact on downstream collection process and front-end information being utilized by Clients in decision-making.
  • Products like Xpressfeed and GICRS are fed by data ingested by researchers and hence very critical from cross-referencing perspective

Responsibilities:

  • Ingestion and maintenance of third-party feed into the database and ensuring smooth flow to product
  • Understand the working of the dataset, be aware of the workflows and have good working knowledge of work tools
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
  • Stay abreast of updated guidelines and policies
  • Ability to onboard a new process or new vendor
  • Involvement in policy formation, data fetching, trend analysis and brainstorming on systematically clean bad data to deliver quality data to clients
  • Project planning, execution and control i.e. end to end accountability
  • Timely and crisp communication to Management and researchers about work in progress and challenges
  • Collaborate with other teams in department and global teams to achieve organizational goals and promote diversity
  • Knowledge share, policy documentation, Quality control initiatives, Process review, Mentorship, and talent development
  • Ideate and execute Process improvement and Automation projects

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate Degree (Major Finance)
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication
  • Working knowledge of Advance Excel
  • Hands on experience in developing and executing SQL Queries
  • Strong command over Financial Markets, Corporate Actions & Financial Products (Equity, Derivatives & Debt Instruments)
  • Analytical mindset and strong in logical reasoning
  • Well versed with secondary research
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and effective Time Utilization/Project Management skills
  • An inquisitive and investigative nature.
  • A Positive attitude, strong interest in research, flair for writing and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to interact with many levels and to face and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner
  • Comfortable to work in rotational shifts, night shift and flexible hours
  • Minimum 3 years of Prior Work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in MS-office
  • Working knowledge of Excel Macro & Data Visualization Tools
  • Certification in Capital Markets/ Global Market Trends
  • Knowledge on lean/Automation or Related Certification
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Prior Work experience in related industry (Financial Services)
