Job Description

A motivated professional Lead Data Analyst with financial and technical experience to lead an operations team in charge of delivering and validating critical data to various critical businesses across the organization. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of professional experience working in the Data Operations sector, having the leadership skills to drive a motivated team to success, while also being very proficient in communication with senior management and multiple oversight functions (internals / externally). The individual will be EMEA-based and reporting into Boston but supporting all three regions: NA, EMEA, and APAC.

As Lead Data Analyst, VP they will:

  • Lead an Operations team that oversees and executes data timeless and accuracy across multiple data repositories.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure operational processes are effectively supporting critical processes.
  • Work closely with Data Governance and Data Projects teams to ensure operations processes are relevant and compliant.
  • Communicate clearly with oversight functions both (internal and external) on operational processes through profound understanding of all operational activities.
  • Thorough understanding of data governance activities and applications of controls
  • Experience with Data Issue Management and triaging issues to determine root cause, which leads to remediation efforts.
  • Running critical processes during month / quarter-end that are tied directly to Regulatory and SEC reporting.
  • Lead and execute improvement initiatives to make the processes effective and efficient.

  • Expert managerial / leadership skills
  • Business and Data Analysis skills
  • Technical experience with Databases and writing SQL.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and the ability to work on multiple related initiatives.
  • Ability to deliver results in high stress situations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in using Business Intelligence and all primary Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Data Operations with managerial background a must
  • Prior experience with financial and/or accounting concepts is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
