Lead SAP MDM – Master Data Management

A unique opportunity, combining a high-end SAP landscape and very dynamic business areas is waiting for you. You are responsible for the SAP MDM tools (MDG, migration cockpit) and together with your SAP MDM team you will be responsible for leading and supporting business solutions based on latest SAP technologies.  

  • You are responsible for the management and optimization of our SAP Master Data processes across the organization
  • Be the technical expert and the owner of our master data tools (SAP MDG-M, MDG-S, migration cockpit, LSMW) – permanently improve the tools based on latest technology and innovations
  • You bring SQL skills to own and improve our internal master data tool for quality checks
  • You work close together with the Global Process Owner Master Data Management to optimize the existing Data Governance strategy to ensure data accuracy, completeness, stewardship, consistency and accountability
  • Manage and guide the SAP Master Data team to be recognized as a business partner promoting efficiency and enable profitable business growth
  • Demonstrate ownership of data integration, maintenance, the workflow of the data as well as data quality 
  • Drive the IT system enhancements and new technologies to automate and improve efficiency of Master Data / Data Governance processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SAP Master Data Management, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and innovations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, with a proven track record of successfully leading MDM initiatives
  • Strong knowledge and technical expertise of SAP Master Data Management tools, processes, and data governance principles
  • Techno-functional expert knowledge in SAP MDG and migration cockpit (incl. customizing)
  • Ability to drive the SAP master data system enhancements and improvements based on latest technologies to automate and improve efficiency of master data / data governance processes
  • Excellent technical SQL skills to maintain and improve our internal data quality tool
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding and mentoring a master data team
  • Ability to define project plans, allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure successful delivery of master data solutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, understand complex data models and business processes and have the ability to develop innovative solutions 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Have a mindset to drive innovation and change
  • Manufacturing industry process know-how will be an advantage 
  • Readiness to travel up to 10 – 20 % 
  • Fluent in English, German is a big advantage
