Description:

The Marketing Data Analyst (MDA) will work as part of the Revenue Marketing team to support the broader marketing and sales orgs. The Marketing Data Analyst will work closely with the business development, digital and field marketing teams to verify incoming datasets, improve database quality, and identify opportunities to streamline lead handoff processes. The Marketing Data Analyst will prioritize leads based on quality and urgency and gather feedback on lead quality from various data sources and initiatives. The Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for managing incoming leads and data from across the globe and must be a team-oriented individual with a global mindset who can work with stakeholders across the business to drive clear understanding of data requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify incoming datasets against internal and external databases for effective use and follow up by marketing and sales
  • Prioritize global leads based on quality and route to the appropriate teams for follow-up
  • Maintain and utilize data governance lists and criteria to ensure data compliance
  • Collaborate with CRM, demand gen and web teams to identify data and process gaps across core technologies
  • Work closely with Global BDR management to deliver up-to-date reports, processes, and best practices
  • Deliver feedback on data quality of inbound marketing efforts to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing, business development, and sales teams to optimize lead turnaround times, enforce data quality standards, and maintain SLA’s
  • Partner with Marketing Automation team to ensure minimum data quality from event and web campaigns and establish cross-functional priorities
  • Provide visibility into ongoing data quality projects to wider sales and marketing teams

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and leverage systems efficiently
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to be challenged
  • Global-minded thinker who can prioritize and collaborate with regional teams
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player willing to support and learn from the larger Marketing and Sales organizations

Responsibilities: 

  • Although the output of this role will be visual, the position itself is within the technical department and as such the candidate must be able to work closely within the technical teams.
  • Ensuring the best user experience over desktop, mobile and client apps, factoring in elements of product, troubleshooting and graphics.
  • Understanding the motivation of end users, and to be able to surface Darktrace AI technology that meets the requirements of novice and expert users.
