Master Data Management Specialist

Summary:
As a Data Management Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing a range of data governance and data management activities. You will ensure that our data can be used with confidence, integrity and quality. This role requires specialization in several areas including data governance strategy & operations, data standards management and data quality management. You will work effectively as a master data management specialist contributing in transformation projects within your specialist area or contributing to the effective operation of the whole team through collaboration and engagement with peers.

In this role you will:

  • involve managing the development of Data Governance frameworks, goals, and roadmap within a defined area of expertise.
  • apply your subject matter knowledge to effectively shape resolutions to sophisticated queries and advance any data governance demand from forums and collaborators.
  • You will also be responsible for establishing and leading Data Governance forums related to your area of expertise, reporting and driving performance of data governance processes, standards, quality, and integration within AZ functions.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  •  Data Governance and Data Management education and certifications such as DAMA or equivalent number of years of experience.
  •  Strong subject matter expertise and demonstrable experience within data governance disciplines and domains.
  •  Knowledge of standards, data management, and IT management regulations, policies, and principles.
  •  Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of Data Governance-related solutions.
  • 5+ of business consulting experience desirable or equivalent experience (internal consulting role) in a multinational company.
  • Proven change management, interpersonal, assertiveness, negotiation, and communications skills.
  • Fluent in English (C1 minimum). Spanish or French are a plus.
