Salary: $19.63 – $24.54 per hour

As a valued member of TeamJDMI, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to health professionals and leaders of multi-site department.

Duties

  • Answering, screening, and triaging telephone calls
  • Receiving patients/visitors coming in for tests, procedures, and appointments
  • Scheduling patients for tests, special procedures, and urgent/emergency appointments
  • Following established procedures to ensure the efficient flow of patients and patient appointments
  • Providing routine clerical support services

Qualifications

  • At minimum, completion of a post- secondary certificate up to 1 year in Office Administration or recognized equivalent required
  • General knowledge of office practices, process and procedures required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience working in a health care environment an asset
  • Knowledge of a second language an asset
  • 6 months to 1 year experience using computer applications or health information system required, i.e., EPIC MS Office
  • Knowledge of RIS, CD burning software preferred 
  • Minimum one year experience in front-line customer service
