Requisition Summary

Peterbilt has an immediate need for a talented and self-motivated operations data analyst and system lead.  This position will report to the Greenhouse Gas Compliance Manager and will lead maintenance of and enhancements to data systems that ensure PACCAR’s compliance to emissions regulations.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Act as a business product owner for compliance project related software development – lead internal system development of requirements, prioritize development, and validate business systems
  • Serve as compliance-related technical support for all North American PACCAR truck manufacturing plants
  • Manage, track, and assist with the reporting of exempt vehicles and engines
  • Study greenhouse gas regulations and assist in executing PACCAR’s compliance plan
  • Forecast accumulation of emission credits
  • Work with engineering, suppliers, dealers, and secondary manufacturers to maintain accurate data, rules, and documentation based on new product offerings

Job Functions/ Responsibilities cont.

  • Perform audits of emissions labels, vehicle components, compliance processes, and data
  • Generate ad hoc data analysis to aid business decision making
  • Assist in providing aftermarket technical support for dealers
  • Create and deliver training internally and externally, especially related to compliance systems
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years work experience required
  • 2 years work experience with automotive OEM preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent quantitative skills, detail oriented, strong initiative and self-motivated desired
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau preferred
  • Prior experience as system product owner preferred
  • 10% travel expected
