We want you to think big and act bold through expressing your authentic best self! Anaplan is looking for a tenacious Principal Data Scientist to join our Data Science Group in our Data & AI organization located in Israel.
Our Data Science Group is responsible for the AI algorithmic core of Anaplan’s platform. We create AI based solutions available to Anaplan’s non-data scientist customers by developing engines that connect to customer and provide forecast/prediction and relevant insights. Inside our engines, there are “Auto Analyst” components which are based on AI algorithms we develop, that automate much of the work of training, testing and deploying of AI models.
Our ownership ranges from innovative idea inception through POC, to its implementation within customer facing products. Development includes working with cutting edge machine learning, deep learning and data manipulation techniques, NLP, deep data analysis and coding a wide variety of features to deal with different data types and meet the customer needs.
Among our current challenges: using NLP to explore data and gain insights for customers, building time series forecast engines, predictive models, enhance user’s experience using AI/ML, big data text mining/analysis as well as statistical challenges and maintaining high algorithm performance and accuracy.
Your Impact
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Principal DS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to design and implement NLP solutions, particularly in the field of natural language query (NLQ). The role includes both research and implementation, as well as providing guidance for other data scientist in the team. You should have experience in NLP projects, using both deep learning methods and classic approaches. As an NLP Expert, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our NLP capabilities and driving the development of next-generation solutions.
Your Qualifications
- Research and study state-of-the-art algorithms in NLP, particularly in the field of Natural Language Query (NLQ)
- Design and architect NLP solutions, leveraging both deep learning methods and classic approaches
- Train and fine-tune deep learning models for NLP tasks
- Perform statistical analysis of model results and refine models for improved performance
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to other team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP solutions into Anaplan’s products and services
Technical Familiarity
- Proven experience as an NLP Expert
- Strong understanding of NLP techniques, with expertise in a variety of NLP tools for classification and translation tasks
- Proficiency in Python, with a demonstrated ability to write scalable and maintainable code for production environments
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, as well as other NLP libraries like SpaCy
- Experience in training and fine-tuning transformer-based models
