As part of the Product Ops & Experience Organization, the Product Data Analyst intern is responsible for supporting our Product Ops function in data-driven analysis answering key questions from our strategic programs. Deploys data-driven exploratory analysis as well as predictive models to solve business problems. Supports Analytics Model development, validation and maintenance. Assists with data collection, cleaning, visualization, model building, training, testing, and presentations to build analytics capability and drive efficiencies. We’re looking for strong data advocates who can plug into cross-functional working teams seamlessly and drive a data driven decision making culture.
Essential Duties

Rising Sophomore to Graduate Students currently enrolled in a college or university
-
Interns must be willing to attend a two-day orientation on Eastern Standard Time
-
Act as a trusted partner to Product, Design, and Engineering for any needs they may have to collect and understand data
-
Will provide support for product specific tools like Aha! and Smartsheet – collaborating with Product & Design to build dashboards and help them derive actionable insights from data

Will also leverage data from engineering data tools like Rally, Jira as well as sources from other areas like Salesforce to build deep insights into our customers and business

Support all functions to ensure the availability of cross-functional data. (Engineering, Product, PMO, Sales, Finance, etc)

Prepare data reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis – both for presentation to Product and Engineering but also for executives

Support the continuous improvement of processes and streamline collaboration across teams to make data readily available

Be a strong advocate for best practices and tools
Required Qualifications

Familiarity with analytics tools and/ or BI tools (i.e. Pendo, Google Analytics, Data Studio, LogRocket)

Familiarity with remote research tools (i.e. Userzoom Go, UserTesting, SurveyMonkey)

Team player with strong communication, collaboration and time management skills

Excellent visual, written, and oral communication and presentation skills

Self-starter who takes initiative

Ability to quickly understand and learn in a fast-paced environment

A strong eye for detail, initiative and committed to delivering high quality work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Product/Project Management tools (i.e. Aha!, Smartsheets )

Familiar with enterprise BI products for visualization like Thoughtspot or Tableau

An impact-oriented, customer-centric approach to data analysis; Exceptional analysis, communication, and strategic report writing skills

Experience using analytics tools (i.e. Pendo, Google Analytics, Data Studio, LogRocket)

Experience cleaning and manipulating data in Excel and/or Google Sheets (i.e. VLookups, Pivot Tables)

Basic scripting skills – familiarity working with APIs to retrieve data
