About the job
The Product Data Manager role coordinates and supports various work processes and projects within Global Marketing and Product Management focusing on Product Data Management and Product In-formation Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
– Creation, maintenance and processing of product and supplier master data according to specifica-tions, supplied properties and product artifacts.
– Recording of product properties and proactive part maintenance and data updates.
– Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally including outside and inside sales team mem-bers, product management, engineering, marketing communications, project management team, operations, and supply chain.
– Independent and proactive processing of internal and external product data inquiries and the associated communications.
– Supporting brand partner requests in collaboration with Franke Sales team.
– Active cooperation with OEM partners to gather necessary product information, technical and sales documentation, price sheets and price quotes.
– Supporting the OEM and Franke Product Management teams throughout the entire product life cycle with respect to equipment, spare parts, and smallwares / kitchen accessories, ensuring data is up to date and accurate.
– Managing sales price verification, updating prices, sell price execution and maintenance.
– Active engagement in process and product portfolio optimization.
– Support ongoing and ad hoc data reporting in collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Product Management.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
– Detail Oriented — Attention to detail, action-oriented, and results driven
– Relationship Management – Proficient in fostering positive relationships with customers, suppliers/OEMs, and internal stakeholders
– Data Analytics — Moderate expertise in using analytical and BI tools
– Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
– Intermediate Language Skills – Strong communication skills, written and verbal
– Intermediate Reasoning Skills – Moderate research and synthesis skills; be able to translate data into insights and actions
– Computer Skills – Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
– BS/BA Degree required
– 2 years’ experience – experience in product management, marketing and/or good technical understanding is an advantage.
