Job Description
The Chase Digital Assistance (CDA) product area is engaged in creating sophisticated, convenient and friction-less customer experiences using Conversational AI in the Chase mobile app, chase.com and voice channels. Our Product Delivery role will be responsible for driving the team’s success in delivery, helping operationalize and manage the build and release of high-quality conversational features and skills.
As a Product Delivery – Machine Learning & Conversational AI within the Chase Digital Assistance (CDA) product area, you will be responsible for promoting the team’s success in delivery, helping operationalize and manage the build and release of high-quality conversational features and skills. You will lead the delivery work of one or two scrum teams, provide guidance and direction on product requirements, and collaborate and motivate the team. You will partner closely with Product Managers to translate initiatives into epics and stories using agile methodologies and controls. Your role will also involve managing production defects and dependencies between Product Managers in the team as well as outside dependencies.
This position requires the ability to come up to speed quickly on the capabilities of the product and the inter-connected work and teams that have to come together to develop and deploy conversational experiences. Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal and analytics skills, as well as a passion for digital and emerging technologies would make for an effective candidate. Experience working with Natural Language platforms and Conversational AI is also highly valued.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently manage large, complex delivery projects with an eye toward efficiency and overall process improvement
- Work in close partnership with Product Manager to translate initiatives into epics, stories and tasks to define the roadmap and timelines
- Develop concise user stories and process flows and maintain consistency and adherence to business readiness and controls
- Actively looks to identify impediments early, resolve those impediments, and escalate when needed
- Manage and tracking of dependencies outside the team as well as cross team/quad dependencies
Lead a collaborative, dynamic planning process– prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the quarterly goals and capacity of the team - Attend daily scrum stand-ups and other agile ceremonies to help answer questions and remove impediments
- Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2+ years of product management or relevant experience as well as record of individual technical achievement
- 2+ years of experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2+ years of technical acumen as a product owner desired
