Job Description

Squiz is looking for a Product Manager who will play a critical role in driving the development and success of our products, focusing on all things AI.

This is a new role and the first of its kind at Squiz. You will have the opportunity to help chart our AI strategy by working with our stakeholders and other product leaders to define the problems we are solving with AI. To succeed you will already have a keen interest in AI and look to be our expert on all things AI and how that can best work in our business domain. 

You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of compelling digital experiences for a range of clients.

You will require:

  • At least 5 years experience working on enterprise products as a lead developer, data scientist manager, or product manager.
  • Experience defining and developing a new product or service.
  • Demonstrated commitment to AI through your own initiatives through courses, books, or side projects.
  • Basic statistics skills acquired through academic study (i.e. math, computer science, engineering, economics, physics) or comparable work experience.
  • Understand of data sets, gap analysis, gen AI concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices is a plus.

AI Experience

You will either need to be, or to become an expert in building and deploying AI products through experience, self-study and on-the-job training. We will both work with partners for our AI strategy and capabilities as well as build our own across the entire DXP. 

What you would doing:

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies, including market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify and prioritize product features based on customer needs and business goals.
  • Corral and organize experts from business lines, data scientists, and engineers to create shared goals and specs for AI products.
  • Perform gap analysis on existing data. Identify new data sources.
  • Develop and manage training, validation, and test data sets.
  • Help stakeholders and other product leaders productionize results of AI products.
  • Develop AI product roadmaps and timelines.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continually improve product usability and performance.
  • Monitor and track key product metrics, utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the product portfolio.
